To ensure that CycleWorldNetwork is a fun and helpful place for all members we ask that every person that registers stick to some "Rules of the Road".
When members of the community show respect to each other and make a positive contribution we all benefit!
First things, first... if you have come here to spam other members then you will end up in the dirt with a bad case of road rash - in the cyber sense that is. Spam other members and you will either receive a strong warning and temporary loss of site privileges, or you will have your account revoked. If you are a member and have been annoyed by someone spamming you we ask you to report that user. We can take it from there...
Rules of the Road
- This is a place for motorcycle enthusiasts. So if you own a bike, ride regularly with a friend, or you're looking to get a bike in the near future you are welcome here.
- Membership at CycleWorldNetwork is a privilege and we want all our
members and guests to feel welcomed and safe. We encourage members to
report any activities that violate our guidlines or cause you to feel
threatened or interfere with your enjoyment of the site. Please refer
to the "Terms of Use " and other legal notices for specifics on matters of conduct and legal concerns.
- Keep it clean - we don't want to see naked pictures of you or any of your "friends". But we do dig pics of sexy BIKES though.
- Images or profiles that are deemed inappropriate for our site will be rejected or banned and in most cases you will have an opportunity to upload different content. Repeated problems or extreme violations will result in your account being permanently deleted. CycleWorldNetwork reserves the right to close your membership at our discretion for any reason.
- Absolutely no spamming - there is nothing wrong with a "day gig". It puts gas in your bike. Just don't act like an "Amway Salesman". If you have no interest here other than selling your wares you are going to tick people off and get booted.
- If you have business interests related to motorcycling we are happy to have you. But please do not use a company logo for your profile pic - your profile should be personal, not business. If you have a business interest in our site please see the "Contact Us " menu. We understand that not every type of business is going to be a good fit for advertising and it is perfectly fine to mention in your profile, for example, "I own Really Spiffy BIkes in Topek, Kansas". We just don't want profile links to your business or profile pics that amount to unpaid banner ads.
- Once you get started on the site don't forget to update your profile. We have tried to keep the registration process very simple but you can add more info once you have created your account. For info on updating your profile or adding a profile pic or avatar see this thread....Editing-Your-Profile-and-Picture-or-Avatar
